Credit Risk Management Advisor recruitment

Job description:

The prospective candidate is expected to deliver credit risk measurement solution to the banks and other financial institutions through engagements and practice development. Prospective candidates are expected to

• coordinate with clients to identify their credit risk management needs in light of the Basel II requirements or general Best Practice Applications and gather information and understand client organization and processes

• document the applications and business process and methodology requirements, document and present the rating model and processes

•  organize meetings and coordinate different project parties

• analyze/map business processes in credit risk management

• review and/or evaluate rating systems, scoring models, and credit risk measurement data and tools

• Contribute to the credit risk modeling process using statistical and econometric analysis techniques

• liaison with other PricewaterhouseCoopers line of services and with third party other  advisors in the projects to maximize efficiency and ensure to deliver highest quality services

Requirements:

• BA degree from a well known university’s Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics departments (Masters degree in business, finance or a quantitative field is preferred)

• Previous financial services sector or regulatory experience of at least 3 years with quantitative analysis capability

• Experience in credit risk management, analysis and/or loan review processes

• Excellent writing and communications skills (in English)

• Proficiency in MS Excel/VB programming

• Knowledge of credit risk rating and measurement methodologies, and/or credit risk management tools is a plus

• Understanding of Basel II

• Russian language - fluent/ native, English - fluent/ native

• Project management experience is a plus

• Familiarity in the statistics application languages (e.g. SAS) is a plus.
