Credit risk manager – Associate Director/Director recruitment

Our client is now looking for an associate director or director within credit overview team to undertake examination of the quality of individual assets and overall credit portfolios across international offices and wide selection of credit products including project, leveraged, structured finance and workouts etc.

Key Responsibilities for the Credit risk analyst (Associate Director or Director):

• Manage credit examinations to ensure completion of credit risk review aligned with scope, accurate risk ratings, credit management findings, accurate overall examination ratings and timely report publication.

• Participate in credit examinations by undertaking reviews of credits, and evaluation of the effectiveness of Credit Management, as requested by the credit review and examination management process.

• Undertake effective ongoing monitoring of credit risk exposures for businesses assigned as Monitoring Officer, highlighting key risk issues to business and credit examination management office.

The successful Credit risk analyst will have:

• Excellent general banking knowledge demonstrated by depth of market experience preferably from a credit risk or risk analysis background.

• Ability to identify and analyse key credit risk factors, assign accurate ratings, evaluate material credit risk management elements and assess strengths and weaknesses.

• Knowledge of complex credits such as project finance, leveraged buy outs, structured trade finance, work out, approval functions.

• Ability to travel for up to 10 weeks per annum out of the UK (mainly week days).
