Credit Risk Reporting Analyst

Our Client a leading multinational bank based in Dublin City Centre is looking for a Credit Risk Reporting Analyst required to focus on 3 aspects:
- Segmentation Model - in support of the Bank’s Mortgage Arrears Strategy (MARS).
- Banking Portfolio Analysis - to support the Credit Risk Management department of the Bank’s reporting on and analysis of the Commercial portfolio
- Retail Portfolio Analysis - to support the Credit Risk Management department of the Bank’s reporting on and analysis of the Mortgage portfolio
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the production of analysis and information for the purpose of monitoring and reporting on credit trends in portfolios such as the Residential Mortgage, Real Estate, Large Corporate and SME Portfolios.
- Production and presentation of monthly and quarterly analysis of portfolios based on evolving parameters in support of the Bank’s MARS process as defined within the Credit Management Information Policy;
- Preparation of Credit Risk Dashboard for Credit Risk Management Committees.
- Support the Homeloans Business Unit in providing feedback to the Group, Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory authorities.
- Working closely with the business managers to perform analysis and track trends in the portfolios on a periodic and ad-hoc basis.
- Proactive analysis and tracking of general market trends affecting credit risk.
- Supporting CRD / Basel II / III Analysis.
- Where required, liaising with various departments, including Information Technology (IT) to ensure any required analysis and/or reporting is performed.
- Address wide ranging queries from Senior Management.
- Work closely with Regulatory Reporting to ensure consistency in reporting to external parties like the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Requirements
- A part or recently qualified Accountant, with strong interest in credit analysis;
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- Experience with Excel modelling and analysis, maintaining and querying Microsoft Access database.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint presentations would be an advantage.
- Experience of statistical modelling and software packages would be desirable but not essential.
- Ability to prepare, analyse and present numerical data accurately and effectively.
- Ability to meet pre-determined time-scales and deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative and also as team member;
- Ability to multi-task and build strong relationships with customers within the bank.
