Credit Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the Director of Credit Sales, provides proactive support to the Credit Processing Team in the credit approval process.  Responsibilities include processing and maintenance of credit files and security documents received in the Credit Sales Department.  This encompasses processing of new and existing credit exposures as well as the maintenance of all related security documents and other duties as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Credit Investigation – 65%

a.     Verify Ownership

b.     Pull appropriate credit reports

c.     Check credit references

d.     Develop other information as requires

2.     Data Entry – 20%

a.     Log new processes

b.     Prepare credit approval forms

c.     Update all information in FACTS system

d.     File all documents electronically

3.     Maintenance and Administration – 15%

a.     Contacts customers for additional credit documents

b.     Make recommendation to Credit Authorization Manager

c.     Send approval/denial letters

4.     Other Duties as assigned.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Two (2) to three (3) years’ clerical office experience.
