Credit Sales Pursuit Leader Job in Tampa 33634, Florida US

The Credit Sales Pursuit Leader will lead the Card Services mid-tier credit card processing sales pursuit and expansion efforts including new sales as well as the retention and expansion of existing relationships. In conjunction with the sales and relationship management organizations and leveraging the sales account excellence program, this position will set the direction for Card Services resources to execute the sales strategy to ensure all prospect or client key business requirements are addressed using tailored messaging, a highly consultative sales process and sales delivery tools (RFP, proposals, presentations, demos). The person will interface directly with client prospects to complete the discovery process and define the winning solution.    

 

Please note:  This position can be located anywhere in the continental US near a major airport.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Support the sales and account management teams by executing the sales strategy within the Card Services division.

·         Support client evaluations including final discovery, solution vision, and solution proposal creation.

·         Coordinate input from subject matter experts and Sales Operations related to the RFP response or proposal, customization/tailoring of presentations plus define and gather the Pursuit Team as well as create sales demonstrations.

·         Participate in client sales presentations as a seasoned industry professional.

·         Provide directional feedback to the business regarding Product Service delivery requirements for the market.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

·         Minimum of 10 years experience in the credit processing industry including sales, account management, or in a related function.

·         Previous outside sales experience in a consultative, solution selling environment.

·         Excellent demonstrated knowledge of credit card payments services and related products, as well as the overall credit card industry including competition and financial institutions. 

·         Knowledge of broader electronic payments industry and solutions strongly desired.

·         Highly collaborative work style with the ability to positively negotiate and influence others.

·         Excellent professional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

·         Professional appearance and demeanor. 

·         Able to demonstrate leadership skills and live the Fiserv values.

·         Able to effectively prioritize issues plus work independently with minimal supervision/direction with a strong sense of accountability.

·         Able to effectively interact with all levels of clients and Fiserv staff.

·         Strong PC skills (MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

·         Highly motivated and self-assured, hands-on problem solver with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships.

·         Able to travel up to 50%.
