It also provides advisory services as well as access to the world's capital markets for corporate, institutional, intermediary and alternative asset management clients.
Strategists analyse market fundamentals and valuations for a respective asset class in order to provide both broad investment guidance as well as specific market recommendations to internal and external clients.
This role will be working on the EU Credit Strategy Desk. The European Credit Strategy team is looking for a junior level team member to generate investment ideas for the team’s daily, weekly and monthly publications. The strategist would be part of a larger team responsible for the outlook and trading strategies for investment grade, cross-over, high yield/leveraged loan and structured corporate credit markets
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Generate and promote corporate credit trading strategies based on relative value ideas and analysis
• Assist salespeople by providing fundamental / relative value analysis
• Provide customized portfolio analysis for various institutional clients and recommend specific trade ideas based on the clients’ objectives and constraints
• Write in a clear, concise and convincing manner to communicate strategy views and recommendations
• Navigate several data bases, price sources and analytical platforms to perform cross-market and capital-structure relative value
• Interact with traders, salespeople, strategists and analysts to efficiently collect relevant data to make timely decisions
• Build a client network with internal and external clients to gain greater insight into market trends and client needs.

We look for individuals who seek challenge in an intellectually stimulating environment. The majority of our hires have degrees in economics, engineering, finance, mathematics or the physical sciences, but the total scope is much broader, including majors from astronomy to political science. However, we have found that individual qualifications are more important than a specific major or concentration thus there is no prerequisite coursework.
