CREDIT STRUCTURER/ATTORNEY Job in Dallas 75201, Texas US

Job Requirements:

Credit responsibilities will include surveying financial markets, identifying new investment opportunities, and monitoring performance of current holdings. Specific tasks will include performing financial analyses, synthesizing research reports, monitoring municipal bond markets for news, reviewing legal documents to determine investor rights, listening to conference calls, and summarizing findings. 

 

The ideal candidate is an attorney with municipal and/or corporate experience looking to expand into an investment role. Specific job requirements include:

 

·         Four or more years of experience as legal counsel on municpal and/or corporate bond deals either within an underwriting group or at a law firm drafting and reviewing transaction related bond documents

·         Familiarity with regulatory restrictions on municipal bond structures

·         Experience with a compliance regime in a securities environment is preferred

·         Knowledge of and interest in municpal investment opportunities – strong academic background and market awareness may be considered in the absence of direct experience. Candidate should be willing to grow into the role of credit analyst

·         Strong academic credentials
