Credit Trader/Portfolio Manager – Bonds and CDS

In order to apply for the role you must have experience in managing credit funds or your own PnL, building developing client relationships. Candidate must also have past experience in managing key European and Central Bank clients.

The firm are looking to expand into the European credit markets and as a result they have recently raised a new fund for an experienced Portfolio Manager or Trader looking to move into this space to manage their book. The firm is known widely after two ex Goldman Traders set it up 8 years ago and had record performance over their first 3 years.

 

They have had consistent and solid returns over the past 6 years and after suffering their first loss last year they are looking to bounce back with the launch of their new fund. The backing for the fund comes from Sovereign Weatlh funds in the Middle East, and Hong Kong and two large Family Offices in New York City.

 

The role requires solid experience and track performance in managing portfolio exposure i.e:-

 

Credit Default Swaps

Corporate Bonds

Government bond

Vanilla Derivatives

Basic derivatives pricing

Ability to adjust portfolio positions to model portfolio

 

The role consist of client liaison therefore the ability to build strong working relationships and utilise business development skills is required.
