Position Title: Crew and Logistics Coordinator
Reports to: Chief Pilot
FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Full time – on call nights, weekends, and holidays
Position Summary
Oversee coordination of Mountain Aviation flight crew logistics. Work in close communications with Client Services Group and Operations Department to maximize crew utilization efficiency. Oversee cost savings initiatives relative to crew travel and aircraft fuel.
Essential Functions
· Oversee monthly crew scheduling in coordination with Flight Operations Manager, Program Managers, and Chief Pilots Office.
· Research and reserve flight crew logistics (hotels, rental cars, etc). Develop cost savings programs and track airline miles/rewards etc.
· Communicate trip details to flight crew members, generate aircraft flight release and answer operational questions.
· Track and approve crew payroll, stand-up, and PTO/ADO pay according to pay period deadlines. Flight following and leg verification.
· Primary point of contact in coordination with drug abatement program
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
· Occasionally interface with clients when requested.
· Assist with answering telephones.
· Support CSG, Chief Pilot’s office, and Training department when requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
· Ability to think and respond in a rapidly changing environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite.
· General knowledge of geography, aviation meteorology, customer service, as well as corporate aircraft types and performance
· Ability to multi-task while dealing with a high volume of telephone calls.
· Strong prioritization skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Understanding of FAA regulations part 91 and 135.
· College degree (Aviation preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience working in aviation industry.
· Previous experience working with FOS N/T Software.
Work Conditions:
· Work is performed in an office setting with prolonged periods of sedentary activity as well as traveling for business.
· Ability to work on-call hours and be available via telephone outside of normal business hours.
Physical Requirements
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
