Our client is a one of the UK's leading FM and building services companies today and they are a provider of network data centres and are currently looking for a Critical Services Manager to join an exciting growing operation.

The CEM/Engineering Manager/Technical Manager/Data Centre Manager etc will be the service engineering delivery interface for all mechanical and electrical planned preventative maintenance PPM, Complete technical management of all Critical power infrastructure (Specialist UPS Systems Generators) Ensuing the engineering team are competent and efficient in the handling of reactive fault calls - breakdowns, handling engineering technical issues directly with the client, overseeing and management of critical system essential maintenance/shutdowns, working with the client when presenting the data centre to potential data centre clientele etc.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

-Be responsible for the day to day running of the ME services requirements
-First line management responsibility for site operational teams
-Identifying, Planning scheduling of PPM in all service delivery aspects.
-Direct staff Management including all full-time, part-time, sub-contractors and specialist providers.
-Oversee all maintenance contract activities and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements.
-Operate company Health and Safety procedures
-Take ownership of the clients needs and pursue effective communications with the customer in order to build a stable relationship.
-Have a good understanding of cost allocation process and support the management team in using accurate records of works completed and associated financial costs.

Specifications/Requirements:

-Demonstrable experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment in a Managerial role
-Electrical biased background / qualification level desirable
-High Voltage experience and/or Approved Persons a distinct advantage
-Sound Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
-Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices
-UK Drivers Licence
