Description:
· To lead the development of the CRM solution architecture for Consumer Health.
· Lead technical aspects of implementing a force.com/Veeva platform used across the world.
· Where needed, roll up your sleeves and design, develop and maintain solutions on the architecture. Collaborate to define global standards by which the CRM/SFE Solution Center will operate.
· This position will be responsible for leading the synthesis of business needs, standards and architecture best-practices while defining the global, regional and local architecture roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
• Act as technical lead of architecture and development for Solution Center (SC)
• Lead all aspects of technical Workstream activities including configuration of local needs in force.com/Veeva as well as our data integration framework
• Map business needs to enterprise reference architectures, standards and reusable assets thus ensuring alignment to business needs throughout the project architecture, engineering and implementation phases and ensuring time/quality/cost benefits
• Lead global governance (across BU’s and geographies) for SC architecture in collaboration with Biopharma teams, Company’s Enterprise architecture team and other SC teams.
• Provide oversight and support to other SC teams in order to ensure strategy and roadmaps drive portfolio, program and project level implementation.
• Leverage requirements artifacts to design solutions that meet those requirements, and work with vendor partners to implement cost effective, sustainable and innovative solutions
• Identify, evaluate and leverage emerging and innovative approaches, frameworks and technologies where applicable
• Multi-system integration harmonization
• Consolidation recommendations in partnership with Business Technology Client Partners (CPs)
• Strategic product evaluation
• Current state portfolio analysis as assigned Training Education:
• A technical undergraduate degree from a leading program and/or commensurate experience.
Experience Requirements:
• At least 7-10 years progressive experience in IT management with large project implementation
• Hands-on experience with the Veeva (preferred) and/or the Salesforce.com platform
• Experience with use, coding and debugging the following as applicable: o Linux RHEL 5.5 o Informatica ETL 9.1 HF2 o Oracle RDBMS 11gR2 o Oracle Toad 9 o UC4 version 6
• Strong delivery record on global, enterprise projects
• Deep understanding of data-management related processes and considerations
• Able to ramp up and add value quickly • Ability to multi-task in high pressure environment
• Demonstrated ability to interact with different countries and levels of management and staff in IT and Customer groups
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM processes, and support models
• Experience managing and influencing vendors and consultants
• Demonstrated success in areas of leadership, customer relationship, delivery of solutions within aggressive timelines while meeting budget/scope requirements
