Crude Oil Trader, (North American Domestic Markets)
My client, a well established European oil energy trading house, are expanding their presence in North America. With an already established trading arm in the US, they are seeking an experienced physical crude trader with specific exposure to North American domestic markets, who can establish and lead a crude trading desk.
A successful candidate would ideally have around seven years trading experience in physical US crude oil, with a strong background and network in US energy. A candidate would ideally already be based in Houston, or readily prepared to relocate.
Responsibilities of North Crude Oil Trader, (North American Domestic Markets) (Crude, Oil, Energy, Trading, Physical, Domestic, Houston, USA) role:
• Trading physical crude oil across US domestic markets
• Establish and maintain strong commercial relationships
• Adopting appropriate trading and analysis strategies with a view to maximize commercial revenue
• Provide support to business development teams
• Work closely with management and parallel business units
Skills / Attributes required for North Crude Oil Trader, (North American Domestic Markets) (Crude, Oil, Energy, Trading, Physical, Domestic, Houston, USA) role:
• A wealth of exposure and contacts across US domestic oil markets
• Demonstrate consistent returns
• A minimum of 6-7 years in a trading position
• Be willing to be based in Houston
