We are currently seeking an experienced Crystal Reports Writer to utilize Crystal Reports and other query tools within our proprietary financial systems environment to design and create custom reports related to the needs of the banking industry. The primary output will be professional quality management and executive reports, as requested by individual COCC clients.
Responsibilities:
•Work with Account Executives, Executive Management, and COCC clients to directly and indirectly field client requests for custom reports
•Define the problem and identify the data required for a report
•Analyze data and design reports to present related information
•Develop and maintain professional reports, primarily with Crystal Reports
•Design, build, and implement new report formats and layouts on a customized basis for clients
•Support clients in maintaining the reports
•Work in an agile environment while managing multiple concurrent projects
•Resolve or support the resolution of production issues related to report access, access to data sources, report execution, scheduling, and more
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
•Minimum of 5 years of report writing experience in a banking environment; must have a basic familiarity with financial aspects of banking along with an understanding of key functional areas such as lending and deposit operations
•Minimum of 2 years of experience developing reports, specifically with Crystal Reports
•Expert knowledge with Crystal Reports including experience creating linked sub reports, drill down, SQL expressions, advanced formulas, formula driven dynamic layout, parameter prompts, and more
•Experience reporting against OLT and EDW environments; data warehouse or business intelligence environment experience is desired
•Experience with SAP Business Objects Enterprise is a plus
•Must be familiar with database concepts, practices, and procedures including a basic understanding of database structure, table joins, SQL, and more
•Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing; excellent customer service skills required
•Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
•Demonstrated ability presenting to small work groups on both technical and functional requirements
•Knowledge of data models and relationships between data elements
