Job Description:

Serve as Challenging Business Partner to Plant Site Managers while maintaining excellent communication with Corporate Finance and Operations following the "No Surprise" model.

* Own production variance analysis; communicate opportunities and champion corrective action plans. Know the "WHY" of variances and Costing System Key Parameters.
* Develop budgets and periodic forecasts from volume forecasts thru to development of Standard Product Costing by SKU.
* Ensure proper Internal Control Environment with special focus on inventory integrity of raw materials, packaging, intermediates, finished goods and fixed assets via process development, compliance testing and education.
* Champion Productivity opportunities within the Supply Chain.
* Champion accurate and complete physical inventory processes involving continual cycle counts with meaningful variance reconciliation and corrective action. Locations to include silo's, plant storage areas and outside warehouses.
* Provide professional financial expertise and suggestions to Operations and Finance teams at Corporate and Field Locations. Be able to lead the Plant management through monthly plant PL
* Assist Corporate Cost Analyst(s) in assembling necessary Operations information to evaluate new or existing product SKU's and to develop Standard Product Costings.
* Maintain complete, organized and accurate systems records for areas of responsibilities with examples including but not limited to: SCAR data, What If Costings, Budget and forecast preparation and monthly performance.
* Special Projects as assigned by Finance Leadership
* Develop and maintain standards and related cost systems.
* Monitor and review LX and Nutech systems for variances and discrepancies. Be support and expert resource for departmental and facility systemic process and procedure.
* Other duties as assigned by management.


Job Requirements:

5+ years Professional/Hands-On Cost Accounting Experience required.
* Previous Bakery manufacturing experience preferred.
* 3+ years experience with $500MM+ Gross Sales company.
* Microsoft Office package expertise (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
* Experience with an ERP system (LX, SAP, etc).
* Self-confidence and assertiveness to challenge the status quo, offer opinions, communicate concerns and champion opportunities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Eagerness to pursue opportunities individually and within teams.
* Commitment to continual improvement while energizing others.
* Willingness to travel to Field locations.
