C#/SQL Programmer – Securitized Products recruitment
A top financial services firm is seeking an exceptional C#/SQL programmer for their Securitized Products data team. This individual will work on tools to retrieve, transform, load and summarize data to store in a new data warehouse. There will be multiple types of data, with many different sources for some of the types, so organization and focus on detail are key skills. This person will also help coordinate work among the team and with the users.
The candidate should have experience in data intensive projects. Strong SQL knowledge is a major need, along with knowledge of C# to create the myriad utilities needed. Good knowledge of Perl will be a valuable skill as well. They must also show drive and initiative to ensure data loaded is accurate and that timelines are being met.
• Experience with applications for financial industry, specifically Fixed Income and Structured Products is a big plus.
• Domain expertise in Whole Loans is desired but not required.
• Experience with scripting languages (Perl or Python) is a big plus.
• Experience with SQL Server 2008 and T-SQL.
• Strong SQL and good C# skills. Knowledge of VBA a plus
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
