Description: Business Title CSTS Analyst Intern Requisition No. 62515BR Category Internships Subsidiary PayPal Position Area US - Nebraska - Omaha Shift Varies Shift Details Business Hours As Needed Primary Job Responsibilities Primary Job Overview The PayPal Customer Solutions and Technical Services L1 Analyst (CSTS L1) will be responsible for providing support on PayPal tools and systems to internal PayPal teams and external PayPal customers. The CSTS L1 will be responsible to provide guidance and direction with issues and use of PayPal's systems and services. CSTS also provides important feedback to internal groups which produce tools and features. This role may require direct interface with management groups from other PayPal teams we support; and provide guidance and direction in all areas of tools and utilities we support to these groups. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Provide direct technical support to PayPal team-mates and PayPal customer base. * Provide basic technical consulting on best practices PayPal's tools and utilities. * Troubleshoot basic issues and ensure a smooth and prompt experience for customers. * Identify and troubleshoot basic PayPal technical issues. * Communicate fix or workaround for issue to customer on basic technical issues. Work with internal communication tools in order to communicate issues to team-mates, the Executive team and to other PayPal departments. * Identify, verify and document irregularities in tool functionality, including posting appropriate bugs. Manage low to medium-low bug process when appropriate (i.e., discover, log, and, follow up on bugs and communicate when fixed). * Assist in creation of standard processes when required, along with required support materials, guides, and collateral. * May give presentations and training to audiences of varying sizes. Job Requirements Job Requirements: * Self starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. * Must be able to liaise and work with all areas of management, executive, middle-management, supervisor and senior agents. * Experience with high-availability web applications advantageous. * Advanced understanding of web technologies, development languages and environments advantageous. * Must be quality and detailed oriented, yet understand the level of detail appropriate for the situation. * Must be a strategic thinker with proven problem solving skills * Must possess the ability to work within a team to meet support goals and objectives forvaried tasks. * Must possess a demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems and develop solutions independently. * Must possess a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish results through influence while meeting deadlines.
