CTL Regional Manager/SVP, Commercial Term Lending

Regional Manager/SVP- Multi-Family New York, New York Under the direction of the Head of CTL East, this position is directly responsible for building a dynamic, entrepreneurial and industry leading team of sales professionals and sales support staff and will oversee the origination process throughout the region. Provides coaching, training, goal setting and team building to support the entrepreneurial sales culture. Works with internal partners in credit, legal and capital markets to facilitate deal closings. Communicates concerns and trends within the region to senior management and makes recommendations to improve the business. Responsible for recruiting and hiring superior, self-motivated candidates for sales and sales support positions within the region. Responsible for monitoring the competitive landscape and identifying innovative trends within the financial marketplace and providing ideas and recommendations relative to product line and sales strategies. Has a proven ability to build a sales culture and possesses the attitude and aptitude to drive a sales process. Knowledge of credit risk fundamentals and general real estate fundamentals. Able to understand, apply and when necessary simplify complex and ambiguous regulations, guidelines, standards and procedures. Primary interaction is with sales team, customers (real estate investors, real estate agents, property managers), underwriters, internal management, industry peers, business groups, attorneys, and auditors.
