CTO Finance Analyst – Maidenhead recruitment

Whether they’re getting involved in our network upgrade, introducing new products or looking after all things IT, our Chief Technology Office (CTO) department keeps us at the forefront of mobile technology.

And as we grow, they need increased financial support and expert advice. You’ll make sure they get it.

In this high profile role offering financial information and analytical support to the CTO Business Partners, you’ll have a big impact over the development and management of our entire 3G network. It’s about providing the insight necessary to support important business decisions and make substantial cost savings. So as well as managing the entire £230m opex budget and getting the department on track to hit its financial targets, you’ll also take charge of  budgeting and forecasting – analysing data, writing reports and developing budgets for review and approval. But you won’t just focus on what’s right in front of you. You’ll also apply your commercial know-how to the numbers, looking at the bigger picture and developing reporting and review systems that will make us even more efficient. It means working closely with departments across the business and with our outsource partners to spot trends and make recommendations to both the Finance manager and Business Partners. And whether you’re coming up with cost-cutting initiatives or operational improvements, you’re sure to make a name for yourself at Three.

Educated to degree level with a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification, you’ll also have plenty of experience analysing financial data in a complex environment plus a background in management accounting. So you’ll have strong analytical and systems skills as well as a flair for driving improvements. Ideally you’ll have already worked in telecoms. But what we’re really after are your first-rate problem solving and communication skills. More than that though, you’ll be happy to take ownership of the department’s finances. To do that well you’ll need to be a strong team player, tenacious and good at building relationships across different functions.
