CTO to join team in an Accelerator in Silicon Valley at Feastly (New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC) (allows remote)
Job Description
Feastly, is a funded start-up in the shareable economy space. We are a P2P marketplace connecting hungry eaters with passionate cooks, offering authentic meals prepared and served in a cook’s home.
We are a angel funded startup that was just accepted into a Silicon Valley Accelerator. We want a front end dev/designer to join the core team.
We’re looking for a cool, highly-motivated, well rounded web designer/front-end developer. You should love clean, efficient code, precise pixel interfaces as well as intuitive and amazing user experiences. You must feel ownership over your work as well as be able to lead others and take direction.
You will be responsible for thinking through the product from a high level view to actually creating the design, UX, UI of the site. We must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, who works well in a team and on their own. You must to be able to think on a strategic high level as well as diving deep into granular details.

About Feastly
Feastly, is a funded start-up in the shareable economy space. We are a community marketplace that connects eaters and cooks, who offer food-based experiences in a cook’s home. Our misson is to democratize dining and allow our feasters to find and attend home cooked meals all over the world. We are rebuilding social capital one home-cooked meal at a time.
We launched in January 2012, and have since hosted dozens of meals and attracted thousands of users as well as generating revenue. We are currently hosting meals in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and now launching in NYC. We have been featured by, among others, The Washington Post, Pando Daily, and NPR. We have been working with all sorts of folks from TED to Airbnb to Task Rabbit to local NGOS and farms to put on amazing food events.
