The founders have a rich background in dramatically improving firm’s profitability within the high frequency trading space through complex strategy and high performance technology; bringing them into the top ten with regards to technology and seriously contending for top spot with some of the leading firms on financial success in this space.
Unlike many of their competitors in the market, our client will create an open flat structure across business and technology, with Quant’s and business working closely with technology in an open forum of creativity and innovation.
They hope to see aggressive expansion with reinvestment of profits back into the business and further investment into strategy and talent.
Initially the plan involves building a small but highly skilled technology team to begin work on the core trading systems with coding starting in Q1 2012.
The CTO must be an established and experienced high frequency technologist from a successful and competitive HFT firm. Candidates will have best in class hands on ability and as such is the quality of the Co Founders; candidates ideally would have built an engine from scratch for a very profitable/active HFT firm and now looking for a new challenge. Although low-latency is important it is more critical that the engine can implement new strategies rapidly.
Due to the nature of this start-up, candidates will sit on the intersection of strategy, business, quant and technology.
