The Center for Market Research Group within Enterprise Marketing is looking for an exceptional individual to lead its WBR Competitive Intelligence function. Wells Fargo Company (NYSE: WFC) is a diversified financial services company providing banking, investments, insurance, consumer and business finance through over 9,000 stores, 12,000 ATMs, the Internet, and other distribution channels. A key division of Wells Fargo is Wealth, Brokerage, and Retirement (WBR). WBR provides comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance, and retirement services. The WBR Competitive Intelligence team is responsible for uncovering key competitive insights related to all WBR businesses, and driving change by communicating and advocating with senior management. The types of projects include: Regular reviews of the competitive landscape, deep drills on key competitors to uncover risks and opportunities in our business model. Integrated analysis across multiple internal and external sources to develop new insights which our competitors have missed. The leader of this team will be adept at uncovering and understanding what our competition is doing and planning. This individual will be analytical, organized, and excellent at presenting and communicating findings. An ability to integrate multiple, seemingly unrelated, sources of information, into an insightful and convincing storyline, is critical. As a leader, this person will set priorities for the team, coach the staff, and evolve our competitive intelligence capabilities. Collaborate with other areas of Enterprise Marketing to help with cross-division analyses and evolving the company's competitive intelligence strategy. This position is located only in St. Louis. Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of market research experience and 4+ years management experience. Minimum Qualifications: 10 Years work experience in analytic roles including competitive intelligence and competitor analysis 3+ years of demonstrated and recent experience directly leading teams of highly talented professionals Preferred Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the retail brokerage industry and understanding of the Financial Advisor experience Extensive experience in developing and presenting concise and insightful presentations to senior management
