Custody & Fund Account Manager, Senior Associate

Overview:

In this position you will be part of a dynamic team that supports one of State Street's largest clients. This is a full service (Custody/Accounting) relationship servicing Exchange Traded Funds.

Responsibilities:

•Review the work performed by team members to ensure completion in an accurate, complete and timely manner and ensure alignment with departmental and corporate service expectations
•Manage the ongoing development of team members through effective delegation of responsibilities, providing continuous feedback and utilizing errors/oversights as tools for improvement
•Respond to team member, support group and client issues and inquiries with a sense of urgency and thoroughness
•Mitigate risk by escalating issues and ensuring that team members are closely following procedures and effectively completing all responsibilities
•Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively remove obstacles for potential errors and inefficiencies
•Work with peers and supervisors in order address all day-to-day workflow needs/re-alignments, completion of all required tasks and response to outstanding inquiries
•Ensure that succession plans are in place, ongoing feedback is being provided to all team members and that mid-year and year-end performance review assessments are being completed in timely and fair manner
•Encourage and monitor the enrollment and completion of internally facilitated training, online modules, GHR instructor-led courses as well as group specific training initiatives

Skills

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree is required, with a preferred Business, Accounting or Finance concentration
•At least 2 years of financial services experience, preferably with Fund Accounting experience.
•Knowledge of financial market activities and transactions
•Strong customer service, communication, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
•Must be able to prioritize activities and work well under pressure.
