CUSTODY RELATIONSHIP MANAGER recruitment

Responsible for the overall regional relationship management of the custodian bank network including minimising costs and maximising the service of custodians. Representing the business and acting as a main point of contact. Management of regular relationship meetings to review service provided by the custodians to enhance the service levels and products provided. Responsible for cost management, risk management, consistent cash management policies, custodian agreements and contract monitoring. Coordinate the provision of management information. As an internal point of escalation for all custodian and fund administration issues. Support fee negotiations and provide fee comparisons. Assist in the research into new markets and changes to local market practice. Indentify and promote streamlining of processes to improve efficiency and service. Work with the business on new projects. Support the development and maintenance of service level agreements. Support the application and renewal of licences, quotas etc in specific markets. Participate in and occasionally lead projects. Manage the external and internal production of MIS reporting. Monitor and coordinate departmental wide financial reporting. Attend industry events.

To be qualified, you must be a university graduate with a minimum of 10 years experience in Finance, Accounting or Investment Operations. More than 3 years experience related to relationship and contract management within the financial services industry. Solid business communication skills. Fluency in verbal and written English. High degree of responsiveness with quick turnaround. Proactive. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills. Project management skills and business process re-engineering skills preferred. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Relevant knowledge of the rules and regulations.
