Position Description:

The position is responsible for providing project-based support for a number of sales and marketing inititatives which will change on a regular basis. Projects could include market research, contingency call support, exploring non-traditional sales venues, and providing sales support to sanofi pasteur. Also responsible to develop and maintain contact with the Company's customer base in providing the primary conduit for communication and sales details.

MANAGE OVERFLOW OF THE COMPANY'S TELESALES
- On an as needed basis, sell the full array of vaccines and other products as required both outbound and inbound in order to assist the business in meeting its sales goals. Need could be the result of sudden call volume increase, promotional activities, product launches, etc. Seasonally contact customers to confirm Fluzone orders.

EXPLORE NON-TRADITIONAL SALES CHANNELS THROUGH MARKET RESEARCH/CUSTOMER PROFILING
- Follow through on various prospective sales channels by making test calls, researching product market, etc. Conduct customer profiling on a variety of topics to include reviewing non-repetitive customer for certain products. Prepare and provide customer specific reports as requested.

EMERGENCY/BUSINESS CONTINUITY SUPPORT
- Take all inbound and make outbound sales calls in the event of an emergency or business closure at the home office.

COOPERATIVE SALES PERFORMANCE
- To meet the vaccines, injectables, and supplies sales objectives within accounts assigned by meeting or exceeding monthly sales objectives and annual target dates.

MARKET AND PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE -
Objective: To continually acquire, maintain and expand personal understanding of our markets and competitors.

Expectations:
- Actively engage in self-development through practical experience.
- Provide complete, logical and knowledgeable presentations on our product and offerings.
- Consistently investigate market conditions, potential competitive activity and product acceptance/ rejection in order to keep the appropriate parties advised.
- Follow the priority and protocol for Market Research and account profiling questions.

CALL AND CONTACT ACTIVITY
- Using the Territory Business Plan to establish and implement optimum call and contact frequencies which leads to the achievement of sales and activity objectives.

Expectations:
- Maintain call routing which enables equitable distribution of calls based upon greatest potential.
- Follow a daily sales call plan to give objective-driven sales presentations to Vaccine, Injectables, and Supplies decision-makers and decision influencers.
- Routinely place outbound calls to potential decision makers which build an ever-increasing number of positive business relationships with each.
- Utilize the promotional and clinical materials provided to follow up each qualified contact.
- Monitor daily call activity performance versus agreed-upon call activity performance standards and adjust as required to ensure increasing success.

COOPERATIVE TERRITORY BUSINESS PLANNING
- To gather the information required to analyze the territory sales potential and set realistic, attainable account sales objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

Total related experience - 2 - 4 years.

Demonstrated success in providing excellent customer service to large and complex accounts.
