Customer Billing Representative Job in Midlands UK
Leicester
- Base salary : Up to £19,000 (experience related) + Bonus + Benefits (or package to c. £21,660)
- Location : Leicester (LE2 7QH)
- Analyse industry costs compared to the customer’s actual consumption of electricity and communicate the difference with our customers, agree payment of any outstanding balance and or recover any erroneous industry costs.
- Manage customer’s journey from beginning to end - Certify that our customers are billed accurately for their electricity consumption; Ensure that they are managed empathetically while agreeing realistic payment terms; Identify root cause of the error through detailed analysis of our customers accounts to ensure that the customer’s future consumption is correct.
- Develop a wide range of skills managing the end to end customer journey for our growing electricity business portfolio. Also develop a detailed understanding of the electricity industry and related stakeholders.
- Technical/Educational: Computer skills, use of all Microsoft packages Excel, Word and Access ; Knowledge of Service Desk Billing system is essential ; Numeric skills required
- Experience: Customer service skills; Good telephone manner; Logical thinker and proactive approach with an eye for detail; Proven record of cash collection
- Relationship: Good negotiator/influencer; Confident communicator with customers; Team player; Fast learner
- Environment: Knowledge of electricity industry including relevant D flows desirable
