Customer Insights Analyst recruitment

The Analyst may make recommendations, assist in implementing recommendations and monitor the impact of recommendations to make adjustments as needed. The employee in this position is expected to operate as an internal consultant to the various internal clients with the understanding that the impact of analyses and insights generated extends to the company’s underlying profitability by enabling research and data driven decisions.

• The primary role of the employee in this position is to conduct customer-focused analyses based on quantitative data and research. The employee is expected to work closely with the Insurance group’s Research and Analysis team members on data reporting about the company’s customers and with the rest of the Customer Insights team on primary and secondary research.

• Act as internal consultant for company and work with clients to understand analytical needs related to the customer, particularly in test / learn situations. Presentation of work needs to be visually appealing to a non technical audience at a level similar to an outside consulting firm.

• Keep up with customer research and digest primary and secondary customer research into insights for distribution to internal clients and the general employee population.

• Create and monitor regular reports, as needed, in order to detect trends and insights.

• Building and maintaining working relationships with all internal clients. Influence others to promote value of analytic work.

• The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree, and preferably a graduate degree in a social science or quantitative field. He or she is expected to have strong written communication skills for explaining complex issues to various audiences. The candidate should possess strong verbal communication skills as the employee in this position must be able to explain analyses to internal clients. The candidate must be able to listen to internal clients to solicit their needs and translate/verbalize these needs as an internal consultant.

• Excellent presentation skills are desirable

• High interpersonal communication skills are necessary to foster excellent working relationships throughout the company. Act as a liaison for team and communicates back to team.

• This candidate must have strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills and an aptitude for data visualization.

• Must be customer focused with a positive attitude, posses a strong work ethic as well as attention to detail and be a team player.

• Minimum 5 years prior work experience conducting analysis in a business environment. Prior experience implementing customer centric analytical strategies in the financial or insurance industry would be beneficial. s. Influence others to promote value of analytic work.
