Exciting new role focused on developing and implementing Pricing Strategies for Food and Non-Food products within a major Food Service Business. OUR CLIENT is a major FMCG business crossing many sectors that operate throughout the UK. They are a market leader in their sector and continue to grow in these challenging times. THE CUSTOMER PRICING MANAGER ROLE is focused on the management and on-going development of customer pricing models, ensuring it is implemented correctly through the sales team and refining the model based on changes to costs and market conditions. The key activities within the role are: • To define the customer pricing approach, test and pilot the options and then roll out in a structured way that minimises risk. • To analyse category churn / elasticity and implement into the discount structure. • To liaise with operations to evolve continually the cost to serve metrics • To liaise with the sales teams - recommending changes to deliver profitable growth. THE CANDIDATE will be analytical and able to manage and present complex data and models. You must also be very commercially minded and preferably have experience in developing pricing models in an FMCG or ideally a food business. Working closely with and influencing internal stakeholders in this major business will be a key element in achieving success in this very interesting role. You will be able to demonstrate: • Strong commercial awareness with B2B background • Experience of building and presenting proposals and models • Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills • Experience of change management and ever changing priorities • Excellent communication skills including presentations, influencing and negotiation • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Excel) If this job is of interest and you would like to investigate this further, apply TODAY!!!
