Summary of Responsibilities/Duties:
* Disassembles, cleans and thoroughly inspects Flowserve or competitor equipment. Designs could include, but is not limited to single stage ANSI pumps, single and multistage API process pumps, vertical turbine pumps, horizontal split case multistage and multistage barrel pumps.
* Ability to utilize a full range of tooling and inspection devices including, but not limited to micrometers, depth gauges, pneumatic torque wrenches including hy-torque, hand grinders, torches, fork lift overhead crane.
* Ability to read engineered technical drawings, blue prints CAD designs
* It is strongly recommended that during inspection the employee possess proper knowledge of pump parts, materials root cause analysis. Employee must be able to prepare written report of actual findings that will reflect critical dimensions being taken and visual inspection.
* Upon receipt of all new and repaired components, employee should be able to identify all components that will be required to rebuild pump, lay out, visual inspection and prepare for assembly.
* Assemble single and multistage, horizontal and vertical rotating elements. Balance as required and prepare before and after report.
* Able to perform final run checks, lifts and floats as required. Record for final quality report.
* Ability and willingness to travel off-site to perform similar functions.
