Posted Position Title: Customer Program Leader Career Level: Experienced Function Services Function Segment: Project Management Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Florida City: Jacksonville Postal Code: 32256-7525 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: The Customer Program Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with key Unison customer accounts, based out of Jacksonville, Florida. You will utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, affecting short-term and some long-term business goals, all focused on increasing customer loyalty to enable business growth. Essential Responsibilities - Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts - Drive improvements to customer scorecards (including on-time delivery and quality) partnering with Supply Chain to implement continuous improvement measurements - Function as liaison between internal GE organizations and customers for assigned contracts - Manage the Time Material profitability metrics for assigned contracts - Partner with manufacturing engineering to implement machining requirements for retooling, New Product Introduction (NPI), and product changes - Partner with engineering on timely New Product Introductions and to implement product changes improving profitability and satisfaction of customer deliverables/milestones - Develop and implement business plans to achieve contract profitability and work scoping - Participate in business and contractual discussions with customer - Assist in the establishment and meeting of productivity goals - Organize and support program and technical reviews with customer - Generate regular program updates for internal management - Identify and improve non-conformity metrics - Interact with Sales function on contract flow down with Sales Director and the implementation of procedure manuals related to the contract Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university - Minimum of 2 years of Project Management leadership experience in a manufacturing environment - Minimum of 1 year of customer facing experience in Project Management, Sales, or Customer Service Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics - Strong personal computer (PC) knowledge with demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Excel and MS Project - Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Professional negotiation and claim management knowledge - Experience leading cross-functional teams, incl. customers and suppliers - Six Sigma Green Belt certification (GE Employees only) - Minimum of 2 years of experience in related technical, manufacturing, or operations - Ability to embrace ambiguity and uncertainty without losing focus and determination - Experience working in a matrix environment Why join one great company when you can join many?
