CUSTOMER PROGRAM MANAGER #1441817

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years proven project and people management experience. In addition substantial mobile industry experience would be a distinct advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage/Support mobile handset and datacard design customers from initial engagement to the final product launch as main point of contact for the customer
- Manage and motivate highly skilled engineering teams to achieve project targets
- Negotiate software and hardware delivery schedule between customer requirement and development plan
- Develop and maintain detailed, cross functional project plans schedules
- Manage expectations of customer, partners and internal management
- Present project status and issues with senior management at both NVIDIA and customer
- Chair working sessions to resolve project resource conflicts
- Organise plan reviews with customer and with internal development teams to match customer requirements
- Manage production and delivery of project documentation, customer specific documents, compliance statements etc
- Tracking and reporting of progress versus plan, instigation of corrective actions
- Maintenance and reporting of tracking parameters and statistics eg bugs found/fixed, test case passes, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent, proven project management skills with experience of managing multi-discipline teams.
- Experience in managing development of at least one mobile phone project to completion on time; this mobile phone project would include high software and hardware content.
- Candidates must be able to develop project plans, schedules, and processes for project tracking and risk mitigation.
- An experienced customer project manager in the mobile communications industry or a proven engineering project manager
- Understanding of complex software, hardware and radio project deliveries
- Understanding of mobile phone development cycle, approvals process, IOT, field trials, customer acceptance process
- Ability to understand hardware and software issues sufficient to identify, anticipate and raise issues relating to the project plan
- Excellent communication skills in a customer and engineering facing role
- Highly proactive and ability to keep to agreed deadlines
