Customer Relations Executive Job in Manchester M1 7BD, North West UK

A 6 month, fixed term position has become available in our Group Customer Relations Department to manage, investigate and resolve the Blemain Group’s third party / customer complaints, whilst ensuring the fair treatment of the customer at all times. 

Responsibilities:
Ensure that departmental communication is of the highest standards
Ensure that the ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ guidelines are embedded throughout GCR and with internal external customers
Act as a point of escalation for complaint handling decisions outside of the standard process
Ensure that departmental complaint activity is undertaken within internal regulatory timescales
Maintain develop open productive relationships with internal external customers

Skills and Experience Required:
Experience of working within complaints, compliance or QA in a customer facing role
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines
Strong communication skills,  verbal and particularly written
Proficiency in the use of MS Office systems including MS Excel and Word
Experience in dealing effectively with customers, regulators and third parties
Experience of working within the financial services industry, with  an understanding of mortgages, secured loans and/or payment protection insurance is desirable
An understanding  of FSA complaint handling regulation is desirable but not essential.
