As a Customer Relationship Specialist, you will be licensed and trained to effectively sell and service insurance products. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working one-on-one with current Allstate customers who contact us; helping to answer their questions, explain coverage, make changes to their policies and sell additional coverage. In the process, you will leverage your strong customer service skills to ensure a highly personable and enjoyable experience for all callers. Property Casualty License As a member of the Allstate Customer Contact Center you will be required to secure a Property and Casualty License. This license allows you to sell and service the Allstate products. During your training we will prepare you to take and pass the Idaho property and casualty licensing exam. As part of the licensing process, the Idaho Department of Insurance will require a criminal background check and fingerprinting. Additional information regarding these requirements can be found at http://www.doi.idaho.gov/producer/res_agent.aspx Schedule: First day: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - Friday 05/18/2012 Licensing Training Orientation : (2 Weeks) 05/21/12: 10:00am ? 6:30pm Monday through Friday New Hire Training - Next 6 Weeks Starting 06/04/12 : 10:00am ? 6:30 pm ? Tuesday through Saturday Transition Training - Second 8 Weeks Starting 07/30/12: 2:15pm - 11:00p- Monday through Saturday (Thursday Sunday off) Permanent Schedule - Starting 10/01/12: 2:15pm - 11:00p- Monday through Saturday (Thursday Sunday off) Work schedule: It is Allstate's goal to support our customers how, when and where they want to be served. The Pocatello-Chubbuck Customer Contact Center will provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As a result, it is critical that all our team members can commit to a flexible work schedule that includes weekends and some holidays. Most call center employees work one weekend day, typically a Saturday, as a part of their normal work week. We do our best to provide a balance between work and personal life, and we will provide advanced notice of any changes in your work hours. Working environment: Please note, business necessities require our Customer Relationship Specialists to be able to handle phone inquiries for their entire shift and to be stationed at their desk for the majority of the day. Training magazine Qualifications Minimum requirements: Two or more years experience in a customer service position or similar role with extensive customer interaction High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) Must pass a pre-employment assessment test Strong customer service skills Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume fast-paced environment High level of dependability Flexibility Stable work History Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer typing and grammar skills Must be eligible to obtain a PC license in all 50 states
