Customer Service Advisor, Exeter

This role is a temporary, customer service position, based in Exeter. Working hours :34 hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am -5pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm. The role will start in July.

The position involves:

o Offering professional, caring, consistent and outstanding levels of customer service. Building trust by engaging in conversations and active listening to customers to be able to anticipate and meet the servicing needs of all customers

o Dealing with customer requests at first point of contact

o Creating exceptional customer experiences for everyday queries and complaint handling by taking responsibility and using all resources to proactively intercept and address customer issues efficiently and effectively. Knowing where to go for support if they cannot be resolved immediately.

o Demonstrating a strong level of competence in the company's digital products and proactively educating customers to have confidence in consistently using alternative channels of their choice, at times to suit them.

o Emotionally connecting with customers and work with colleagues in a collaborative way to deliver a consistently exceptional and seamless customer experience.

o Acting with honesty and integrity. Working with colleagues to create a respectful and motivating environment to attract, inspire and develop colleagues who share our purpose and values.

o Being proactive, visible and engaging. Providing effective banking hall coordination and assist customers with their essential everyday needs, providing everyday banking solutions where appropriate.

o Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Framework and internal Policies and Standards

o Being confident in using technology and keep knowledge up to date on products and services across banking.

The ideal candidate is someone who is tech savvy and willing to learn. Candidates must pass credit and criminal record checks and not have been dismissed from any role within the last 3 years. Candidates must not have any visible tattoos or face piercings (ears acceptable). Candidates must have natural hair colour.

Please note that candidates must be comfortable being on their feet all day.
