Customer Service Advisor Job in Northampton, Midlands Uk

Billing Aquadrome is owned by Pure Leisure Group Limited, which is a family owned business. 

Reporting to the Visitor Centre Manager, Customer Service Advisors provide an effective and professional service to the owners and visitors on the park.

The working hours for this role are approximately 45 hours per week over 5 days with extra hours and days as required.

Duties include:

·         To serve the public in the most courteous and efficient manner including effective handling of enquiries and complaints.

·         To comply with company policies, Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities.

·         To interact and communicate effectively with all visitor centre team members, customers, other departments and the management team in person, via email and by letter.

·         Handle customer feedback effectively, communicating customer issues and complaints to the Visitor Centre Manager.

·         Taking site fees, reconciling and handling cash.

 

Specific Tasks:

·         Manage hire fleet bookings, touring and tent bookings, for both arrivals and departures.

·         Dealing with tourist Information requests from guests and visitors to the park.

·         Maintaining hire welcome packs and information packs.

·         Ordering promotional material.

·         Organising and preparing tickets ready for arrival.

·         Liaise with the Bookings Department and update RMS as required.

·         Ordering, resetting and maintaining stocks of electronic barrier passes and  traders passes for events.

·         Selling seasonal tourer and camping plots.

·         Dealing with owners that hire privately, moorings enquiries and administration.

·         Promoting advance bookings.

·         Any other duties which may, from time to time, be determined by the company management.

 

Knowledge and experience:

·         Previous experience within the leisure and tourism industry – desirable.

·         Evidence of ongoing professional development – desirable.

·         Recognised customer service qualification (e.g. Welcome Host, Welcome All) – desirable.

·         Ability to manage workload effectively.

·         Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with employees and customers.

·         Ability to work well in a team and contribute to team objectives.

·         Good customer service skills.

·         Positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.

·         Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
