Customer Service Advisor (SAP Essential)

A global multi-billion dollar company based in Cwmbran are looking to appoint a Customer Service Advisor to start ASAP in a permanent job.

The Role

The successful candidate will be working as part of a team in a busy customer service department.  The Customer Service Department covers a wide range of core duties, dealing with order processing, invoicing, shipping, minor technical queries and front of house communication. Please note previous experience of SAP is essential for this role.

The position we are recruiting for is “Front of House Communication” which can be highly demanding and therefore needs the candidate to be outgoing and have the ability to communicate on a high level with internal and external customers from the onset.

The candidate will need to work well with other team members, whilst having the ability to work on their own when required.

The role will involve interaction with customers both via telephone and email (50/50 split) and all enquires need to be acknowledged and dealt with in a timely manner.

Customer communications can cover a wide range of subjects and requirements.  Therefore, the candidate needs to take ownership and responsibility to follow the enquiry through including:
Pricing, Lead time, Transit times, Technical enquires , Urgent Requirements, Goods lost in transit, Requests for distributors, Orders overdue delivery, POD’s for goods shipped, Tracking goods lost in transit, Carrier enquires, Marketing Material, Certification, Approvals, Delivery Address changes,
Split delivery Shipments.

In addition the candidate will be required to:

Liaise with customers on any new order queries relating to pricing, carriage and product references.
