Hays Office Support in Woking is currently working with a leading manufacturer of office equipment and cost reduction systems to recruit a customer service and product trainer.
We are looking for someone who has had previous experience in with technical products either in sales or as an engineer or ideally as a trainer.
This role is a home based role but will require extensive travel around the South of England up as far as Birmingham and will require you to report into the head office in Chertsey from time to time.
The main purpose of the role is to identify and implement value added services to both direct and indirect business channels through the provision of high end product related learning and development support.
You will do this by:
· Working with direct and indirect sales management on all after-sales aspects of any new product launch plan.
· Acting as a conduit between Sales, Partner organisations and technical training to cascade identified training needs.
· Being responsible for providing business development support for a generally specified geographical area.
· Participating in central projects and initiatives as required.
· Planning and conducting new hire and remedial product training as required to meet business needs.
· Maintaining an up to date understanding of the overall Marketing proposition for the business to ensure activity is aligned to business plans.
We are looking for someone who has a positive people person who is happy to interact with lots of different people. You will have a high level of personal resilience, a track record of innovation, evidence of building constructive relationships and an ability to keep learning up to date.
A full driving licence is essential and a formal training qualification would be extremely advantageous.
