CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
 

CAL SPAS the leading manufacturing in Home Resorts Products is seeking a Customer  and Technical Support Representative to provide superior support to our customers and dealer network regarding parts and service for all products manufactured.

 

 

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES

 

1.      Answer all incoming calls, voicemails, and emails daily with response time of 2 hours or less by following departmental procedures. Identifies and resolves problems by use of the internet, interfacing with dealers, collecting correspondence and entering data into the database for both consumer and dealer complaints.

2.      Recording all call information (such as type of call, results of call and complaint details) into the computer during calls

TECH SUPPORT DUTIES

1.      Part referencing-providing part number descriptions, enhancement and retrofit information

2.      Troubleshooting – step by step troubleshooting to resolve malfunction issues.

3.      Technical tips- to make troubleshooting and moving of the equipment easier and safe

4.      Warranty information and advice – provide information on warranty claims and warranty coverage

5.      Convey any information pertinent to the design and engineering of new and or/revisions of products

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Minimum of three years experience in a technical role in a pool and spa industry

·         Demonstrated customer service skills and phone presence, including but not limited to being a good listener, capable of diffusing tense situations through conversation, and offering each customer the attention to resolve their problem.

·         Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·         Technical communication skills.

·         Must be proficient in understanding schematics, line drawings, mechanics of; switches, relays, GFCI sensors and circuit boards

·         Must have knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, plumbing systems, both gas and water.
