Customer Service Associate

Our client an established Banking organisation requires Customer Service Associates to join a team at their contact centre in Hamilton.  
As a key member of an inbound direct team, you’ll be responsible for providing a world-class service over the telephone, to customers that pay for additional services on their accounts. Provide assistance on balances, statements, making bill payments and set up of standing orders.

You will be required to take calls and resolve customer queries varying in situation. Focusing on understanding their needs and identifying how to get the most out of there current finances whilst delivering a personable and professional service. 

To excel in this role you must:

Enjoy constant telephone contact with customers.

Be able to communicate professionally in English, and have previous call centre or retail experience.

Be willing to work flexibly, as the role will involve shift patterns based on a 35 hour week.

Be resilient and someone who thrives on providing exceptional customer service and working towards achieving stretching sales targets, whilst providing best practice for customer and the business.

Ability to decide on best action to be taken to each individual need and maximise cross selling opportunities.

This role will offer the an opportunity to increase earning potential and gaining further income through a variety of methods of collating a bonus. You will also receive a structured training programme and support in the role to excel and boost your ability to develop and grow your career. Initial training for this role will be for 12 weeks.
