Customer service consultant

Customer service consultant job in Manchester city centre for a 6 month contract offering competitive salary of £14,475. Candidates will need to be flexible with working hours as the centre is open from Monday-Sunday 24 hours a day, although shift patterns will be discussed at interview stage. Due to the nature of the business candidates will also need to pass a strict credit check.

This opportunity is for one of the leading insurance organisations in the UK, they deal with various insurance products and services with over 5 million customers. They are a well-recognised company and are still thriving with one of their core locations being based in Manchester city centre.

Candidates will be delivering first class customer service to new and existing customers, dealing with various queries regarding insurance and changes to details. You will be the first point of contact for customers tailoring your approach to each individual to help them with their query.

Duties
Be the voice of the range of insurance products
Offer quality service to each individual
Offer relevant knowledge and advice to customers
When appropriate offer additional services
Take customers details to assist them
Amend, transfer and renew policies
Build rapport with customers to take them through the necessary process
Highlight benefits to customers and match them to products and services suited

Skills
Experience in a customer service role
Passion for customer service
Experience in call centre
Ability to meet targets
Proven record of building rapport with customers
Excellent communication skills
Polite, professional and confident phone manner
Attention to detail
Willingness to develop and contribute to the team
PC literate
