Customer Service Consultant – CBD Based recruitment
Due to the dynamic nature of the business and the team we have a number of roles available which will be to start in the New Year. You will be the first point of contact for phone and email enquiries for the users of Macquarie products. You will be speaking with a multitude of clients including Macquarie advisers, independent advisers and direct clients. It is a phone based role where your passion for delivering high level customer service and enthusiasm in learning about the products will enable you to deliver knowledgeable and clear information.
The Service and Operations division you would join is the backbone to the Macquarie retail operations. It will be a real opportunity for you to grow your knowledge of financial products while working in a fast paced, supportive team environment. Training and development is a high priority here at Macquarie and we provide the support for you to be a leading client services specialist.
Day to day responsibilities in this role would be:
- Responding in a timely manner to client and adviser enquiries by phone and email
- Ensure consistent delivery of solution focused service with end to end accountability
- Provide accurate information and addressing any issues.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and advisers.
- Outbound service calls to clients and advisers for follow ups
- Recording accurate information for client and adviser requested transactions
- Refer requests or requirements to other departments for action as necessary
To be successful in the role you will ideally have:
- Tertiary studies or qualifications, preferably within business such as finance and economics
- A history of high achievement and a reliable and adaptable work ethic
- Polished and professional communication skills
- A true passion for providing personalised and exceptional customer service
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Enthusiasm and desire to be part of a successful team
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks with positive attitude towards continuous self improvement
