Position Title: Customer Service Manager
Reports To: Director of Operations
PURPOSE:
- Establish and implement an aftermarket service department for DDS.
- Responsible for overseeing the technical support and field service functions on a global basis.
- Technical support responsibilities include overseeing the diagnosis, troubleshooting or debugging of equipment and systems.
- Field service responsibilities include overseeing activities related to installation, repair, preventative maintenance or engineering change upgrades.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
· 8-10 years experience working/setting up field aftermarket support infrastructure
· Degreed Engineer with a mechanical/electronics focus and strong technical background
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Results driven/self-starter
· Recognize the impact of variances to scope, cost and schedule
· P L management
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Set strategy for aftermarket customer support infrastructure to provide onsite execution of services for installation, intervention, refurbishment and maintenance of DDS products
- Act as liaison between customers and company on product improvements and feedback to leverage existing and new sales opportunities
- Leverage the company’s existing service infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering to develop solutions
- Establish and maintain a high quality and reliability record enabling customer satisfaction
- Implementation to include system for field installation support, technical documentation, product design review and validation, technical planning, customer interface, project execution, product and system troubleshooting, performance testing, product maintenance and repair/refurbishment
- Successfully manage warranties, retrofits, and supplier management with regard to spares and sourcing
