This dynamic and innovative Freight Management Company are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their motivated and focussed team of professionals.
Providing solutions for air, rail, sea and road freight, this company specialise in both Domestic and International services.
Working in this fast paced environment, you would be providing a high level of Customer Service to a largely retail-based clientele within timely and efficient timeframes, managing a portfolio of 5-10 clients.
Liaising with both clients and carriers to manage the freighting process, your level of Communication must be superior, as the nature of the role requires nothing less.
A logistics/distribution background would be an advantage but isn’t essential to be a part of this small and intimate team
Although training will be provided, applicant s that will be considered will have Microsoft Office skills that are Intermediate as a minimum, as the job requires a particular level of knowledge for you to be able to hit the ground running when you start.

- The ability to keep calm while under pressure
- A strong ability to be able to follow-up and investigate, being able to extract information from the relevant sources
- Experience in a Customer Service support role.
- The ability to maintain and nuture all working relationships, particularly with clients
- Efficiency and Multi-tasking skills
- A great ability to problem-solve and use forward thinking in all matters
- Tidy presentation, as you may be required to have face to face contact with the clients
