An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Services Manager / Operations Team Leader to join a large financial corporation based in Nottingham City Centre where they will lead from the front and provide Operations Management to the division.

This highly prolific financial and insurance company houses it's head office in Nottingham and has developed into Europe and Asia over the past 30 years. Their UK business was established in 1994 and since then they have grown great success with a great range of high profile retail clients across the country.

The Vacancy
This company are looking for the right candidate to be experienced in both management and financial industries, with an understanding of either banking or insurance. As an ideal candidate you will have the following experience:
* Proven success in developing a team in either a customer service or contact centre role - people management experience is essential
* Great understanding and experience within the finance, banking or insurance industries - this is also essential
* Project management/coordination experience and ability to follow compliance and data protection guidelines for all customer and co-worker information
* Deliver SMART objectives and develop your team to excellence, maximising performance according to KPI's
* Ensure you have appropriate technical expertise and product knowledge to lead from the front

You will additionally have the following attributes:
* Exceptional communication skills and proven coaching abilities with your direct reports
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Be an excellent team leader, but also a hands-on team player when required
* Able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
* Be approachable and inter-personable at every level with your team

This role will require flexible working hours with Evenings/Weekends according to a rota system.
