Customer Service Representative

We are assisting our client, located in Quincy, in their search for a Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate: receives customers' requests by telephone or mail, analyzes requests, provides information requested or ascertains who can best provide the information, and routes the request to the proper person; responds to verbal and written inquiries from perspective clients. Always responds to clients in a positive manner; coordinates fulfillment of inbound sample requests from sales team, web inquiries, phone inquiries, etc.; works with production team and outbound logistics supplier to expedite orders when needed; resolves customer questions related to orders, pricing, samples, etc.; provides support to sales team on quotes, pricing and order follow-up; provides support to product management on CRM system, including forecast updates, customer master data entry/update, etc.; contacts customers to ascertain data omitted on orders; has knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, and similar data, as required; and acts as a troubleshooter for customers with event and/or order problems. The incumbent should possess the following: a bachelor's degree and at least 4-6 years experience in a Sales or Customer Service environment; prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics database (CRM 2011 version); excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment - must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping; effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills; strong demonstrated organizational skills with ability to prioritize job functions to meet deadlines, ensure smooth work flow and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail; and the ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions, changing priorities and conflicting deadlines. This role will require up to 10% travel. Due to the location, having access to a reliable form of transportation is required. This is a temp to perm role, paying up to $18/hr. on the temp side and up to $50k on the perm side.
