Customer Service Representative

Our client is a thriving business that has grown from a start up 1999 to become the most profitable business in its sector and one of the most successful e-commerce businesses in the UK. They are the UK’s largest on-line gift experience company selling over 4,000 different gifts and experiences and generating turnover in excess of £25million. They have been established for over 11 years and employ over 70 people in the UK. They are part of a multi-million pound international group of gift experience companies.

The role of our Customer Service Representative is to respond to customers in a positive and professional manner, providing the information they need and ensuring repeat custom. The team is the primary point of contact for customer queries, dealing with people via telephone and email.   We provide excellent service with a positive and helpful attitude.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

·         Answering customer calls/emails and following up queries

·         Responding to customer complaints/enquiries in a timely and efficient manner

·         Liaising with customer queries with suppliers

·         Proactively identifying system improvements

·         Identifying website problems

·         Completing paperwork

·         Following customer service processes as outlined in terms and conditions.

Requirements of the role:

·         Educated to A level Standard

·         Articulate, bright and curious

·         Fast and accurate typing skills, 40wpm min speed

·         Detail driven with the ability to prioritise work.

·         Experience with EGain email software, desirable.

·         Systems:  Outlook, Excel, Word, EGain, In-house Customer Database
