The Requirements - Excellent communication skills - Work ethics, attitude and personality that portray integrity, self motivation, competitiveness, and persistence - Ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task to grow profitable business while exceeding customer expectations - Product knowledge consisting of Industrial Control Automation is preferred The Responsibilities - Sell Industrial Control Automation/Electrical products and services by establishing contacts and developing relationships at all levels that have an influence on the decision making process - Key Account focus will be MRO, OEM, System Integrators, Panel Builders, and Industrial Contractors while establishing relationships within the Specification and Engineering Community - Work closely with Graybar ??s strategic supplier partners to provide value added solutions and services to expand our existing business and to target new accounts within the Industrial Vertical Market - Identify and communicate product improvements and new product applications by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competition - Take a pro-active role in reviewing and establishing local inventory levels to support our Industrial Control Automation customer base - Participate in training sessions as requested - Communicate effectively with Outside Sales personnel with regard to quotes and new and existing opportunities - Work effectively with Graybar ??s Management, at all levels, to provide timely response to Corporate, District and Branch level mandates - Perform other duties as assigned Education/Work Experience - Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred Normal Work Schedule - 8:00a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Some overtime required The Benefit Package - Comprehensive health care package including medical, dental, prescription drug, and vision plans - Flexible Spending Accounts, Long-term Care Insurance, Life Insurance, and Disability benefits provided - Employees can invest well with retirement savings tools such as Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit Pension, 401(K), and Employee Stock Purchase plans - Vacation and Holiday pay provided - Education Reimbursement As an employee-owner, you'll be proud to call Graybar YOUR Company!
