Job Description:
General Summary:
The Client Service Representative is the first line of communication into Interactive Data’s Pricing and Reference Data Business. The Client Service Representative will have a great client service attitude and the desire to learn all products and market data being supported. Researching and answering customer questions in an expeditious, thorough and professional manner is essential to the success of this position. Having a “go get ‘em” attitude with a proactive approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support dedicated clients and help with clients who have no dedicated rep
- Monitor the group e-mailbox and acknowledge e-mails as quickly as possible (approx. 75%)
- Log into the ACD phone system (approx. 25%)
- Work with appropriate office (Dublin, London, Melbourne and NY) when logging questions
- Review all outstanding tracking queries on a daily basis for a status
- Continually keep clients updated on status of research being done
- Treat customers courteously, efficiently and effectively
- Attend continuous training classes
- Provide after hours coverage from 6-8 PM on a rotational basis
- Monitor and update the profile of assigned dedicated client(s)
Qualifications:
- Tremendous client service skills including excellent business judgment skills when dealing with clients
- Be organized and handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent work ethic
- Thorough problem solving, analytical and follow-up skills
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of the Financial Data Services industry
