Customer Service Representative, Insurance Agency Job in Everett 02149, Massachusetts US
Philbin Insurance Group, a family owned and operated agency with locations in Lynnfield, Burlington and Everett, is currently seeking a full time Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. Working out of the Everett office, you will interact with clients to provide information in response to inquiries regarding the Agency’s products and services; handle and resolve client complaints and issues; and review and recommend coverages for clients with the primary focus is on client satisfaction, retention and rounding existing accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Explains, selects and places insurance coverage for clients. Explains products and services, submits applications or cancels accounts or address issues of concern.
- Ensures that appropriate requests were made to resolve client issues.
- Services and maintains existing accounts including responding to client requests and inquiries; processing policy changes; binder preparation; billing questions; and coverage inquiries; email and phone numbers, etc.
- Maintains accurate records of all client interactions and transactions by recording details of all inquiries, complaints and actions taken.
- Maintains individual client files and maintains correspondence between the agency and the client/company.
- Maximizes coverage of in force accounts through account rounding and cross selling of products.
- Enrolls clients for EFT.
· Refers unresolved client grievances to Agency Manager for further investigation and resolution.
· Maintains activity list on a daily basis.
· Assists Processor with second request incomplete changes.
· Receives payment and records receipts.
· Reviews and processes insurance applications and change requests submitted by Producers for completion.
· Maintains designated retention levels for existing book of business through reviewing renewal accounts and making recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Abilities: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Three years of prior experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
