We currently have an opening for the following position: Call Center Customer Service Representative (Full-Time, Weekdays, between 7am and 6pm) - Hourly start: $10.50/hr.

COMPANY OVERVIEW. Universal Language Service, Inc. is a busy Call Center, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Call Center does administrative work for our clients: scheduling, billing, tax reporting. Our Washington state and government clients include Public Hospitals and their affiliates, Public Health Districts, Federally Qualified Health Centers, School Districts, City Halls, Courts, Law offices, Shelters, Jails, Reporting Corporations, Fire and Police Departments.

JOB PURPOSE: Schedule on-call interpreters to a variety of customers, answering inquiries; resolving problems; fulfilling requests; maintaining database.

DUTIES: Answer multi-line phone * Data entry * Outgoing calls * Dispatching interpreters * Other clerical duties

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: 1-2 years Customer Service experience in a Call Center desired * Demonstrate data entry accuracy * Minimum 45 WPM * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients * Ability to apply logical reasoning in order to make timely, effective decisions * Ability to maintain self-control under stressful situations * Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; flexibility under pressure * Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds * Flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile * Capable of working independently * Proficient in use of personal computer * Experienced with Outlook, Word and Excel * Ability to pass background check, credit check and drug screening * Must have a flexible schedule * Have an excellent grasp of the English language * Have an excellent speaking/phone voice.
Speaking a second language is NOT a requirement for the Call Center Representative position.
Candidates must be able to make a minimum of a two years commitment to the position. Looking for flexible and dependable employees. Training will be provided!
