Customer Service Representative Job in Orange 92868, California US
The Customer Service Representative functions as the primary phone contact within the department for most or all of our incoming phone calls. Facilitates and assists in the enrollment process on all direct enrollment accounts specifically assigned Premier Accounts.
Qualifications:
• Must have at least 2 consecutive years of phone customer service experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Excellent phone skills
• Must have Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience
• Good typing ability
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Must become licensed within 6 months of hire; once licensed must submit applicable continuing education hours to maintain license.
• Data entry skills are a plus
Responsibilities include:
• “First on phones” for all incoming agent phone calls.
• Handles questions on the enrollment process including but are not limited to:
• Completion of enrollment forms, back dating, acknowledgments of gaps, premium charges, cancellations, payment options and OPS.
• Handles all coverage questions that can be answered via the Enrollment Highlights Guide. Questions that are beyond the scope of the guide will be handled by the Account Specialist.
• Takes and processes all certificate requests.
• Reviews enrollment forms prior to processing to resolve completion/payment issues.
• Resolves all bounced checks and rejected credit card charges.
• Handles department filing in Image Right.
• Assists with assembly of proposals, mailing of enrollment material, and other general clerical and special project work as assigned.
• Assist with any other miscellaneous job duties as assigned, which can include but are not limited to: Processing and following up on pending enrollments, retrieving and responding to voicemail and emails that are directed to CalSurance, and maintaining logs of calls, voicemails, and pending.
